I swear this week is taking forever. I kept thinking today was Thursday only to keep being reminded that its Wednesday. Ugh.
Nevertheless, I did my "legs" workout this morning...
STRENGTH

EB Wall Squats 15/15/15
Barbell Lunges 10/10/10
Split Squats 10/10/10
Sumo Squats 25/30/35

Tabata Protocol
10% incline at 5.0 mph
20 seconds on/10 seconds off

And that's pretty much it. I think I'm going to up my weight next week on the lunges and split squats. The wall squats are still kinda tough so I'm going to leave that where it is. I'm still looking for a good inner/outer thigh move. Any suggestions?????
I did decent on my eating today, although I use that word lightly... Had a small brownie after lunch - not a deal breaker, though. My problem was when I got home. I realized that I didn't have all the ingredients for the recipe that I was going to make tonight and conveniently the hubb-o wanted to go out to eat. Soooo we went and got mexican. But of course, I still had to wait for him to get cleaned up from work (he works in a sheet metal shop. yeah. dirty). So as I waited I may or may not have had a handful of craisins and three spoonfuls of cream cheese frosting that I found in my fridge left over from the christmas cake I made.... just sayin'.
Anywho, I did way better than I usually do at the mexican restaurant. Kristen blogged about getting chicken soft tacos the other day at her local mexi-joint and I've been craving them ever since. So instead of my usual chimichangas (amazing by the way, but totally, like, three days worth of calories) I just got an order of chicken soft tacos. They were super yummy! The only bummer is I still ate the same quantity of chips and OF COURSE we had to get the white cheese sauce. So no improvements in that department. Oh well - life goes on.
Tomorrow's my "rest" day so Friday I'm planning on getting to the gym bright and early for my "pull" workout and some cardio. We're going out to eat Friday night with some friends at this super fancy, awesome restaurant that we love and I'm so excited! I'm going to try to be reasonable with my choices but with that place, there's no guarantees.
Saturday we're going to some boat show thing with my parents. So, if you don't hear from me in a few days, don't fret. I shall return soon.
Oh, and I'm hoping to get my 4 mile run and core workout in before we leave for the boat show saturday morning. I really don't want to miss it so here's hoping I can roll outta bed by 8!

Sumo deadlift are great for inner/ outer thighs, as well as if you put a resistance band around your ankles and do a resisted lateral lunge.
