Two in One! Holy Cow!

Wow, two posts in one day! Look out!

I just wanted to do a quick post on my workout for today...
CORE
21 Bicycle Crunches
21 Back Extensions
30 second Plank
45 seconds Rest

15 Bicycle Crunches
15 Back Extensions
20 second Plank
30 second Rest

9 Bicycle Crunches
9 Back Extensions
15 second Plank

CARDIO
Attempt sub-30 5K

Yeah, so my sub-30 5K attempt didn't go so hot. I started off really well but then I jumped off the treadmill for a short breather at .75 miles and it just went down hill from there. I modified my workout on the fly and decided that I was going to at least go for 2 miles in 20 minutes or less.

My time, you ask? 2 miles in 19:55... boo-yah! And that included a short walk in-between miles 1 and 2.

The last quarter mile royally sucked since I had to make up for my walking time. My knees were killing me too, which is very rare, as my knees never hurt.

Oh well, at least I didn't crap out on myself today. Looking forward to see what tomorrow's Fitquest "Legs" workout is going to entail...

one thing I learned quickly when trainin for the marathon- when it comes to running, you'll have good days and you'll have bad days and until you get going, there's no way to tell which day it will be! It can be incredibly frustrating or you can surprise yourself.

Nice job on the workout!
