What the crap?
So my day started out like a typical Monday...
I woke up at the butt crack of dawn. Headed to the gym. Did my thing. Got ready for work. Made the long, boring drive to work. Made it to work. Started the coffee pot. Started up my computer, sat down, prepared to tackle the day I had ahead of me and waited for the coffee to brew. And it all went down hill from there...

Bittersweet
I made it to the gym today! Not quite as early as I had hoped but still I made it!
Plus, I had another Green Ogre this morning! I used the vanilla protein power in it that I bummed off my brother. I couldn't even taste it.
My workout this morning kicked my butt and I'm totally ready for a nap. Here's how I did:

I AM SO GLAD ITS FRIDAY!
Well, I finally did it. I gave in and create a Facebook account. And now...
I am addicted.
As if I didn't already have a hard enough time staying focused at work, I have just made it worse. Way to go, Lace. Good one.
Although the little voice inside my head did everything in its power to talk me out of working out this morning and crawling back into bed, I did not give in. I went to the gym....

Note to self: Take the time to put your running shoes on!
Somehow I zombied my way to the gym this morning. It was a struggle but I know I'm not the only one that struggled to get up this morning.
The poor girl that was supposed to open the gym didn't show up until like 6:15 - talk about a rough start. The cleaning lady opened the gym up but none of the computers were running and the music wasn't playing. lol
So, we all - yes, there's a line of people just itching to be the first one in there. Including the annoying gross guy with the annoying "shorts problem". Seriously dude, its like 2 degrees out - wear pants! Please! grr.
Sorry. ...we all just wrote down our numbers on a sheet of paper (we usually punch them into the computer) to log in.

Oh boy.
Well, I finally did it.
I weighed myself for the first time since before the holidays. It wasn't pretty. I'm up 5 pounds from 5 pounds I was already up before the holidays. That means that I've put on 10 pounds over the last three months or so.
Not. Good.
I know exactely how it happened too...

Random Thoughts
I'm taking a much needed rest day from working out. My legs are super duper sore and the fluid behind my knees is swollen and tender. So yeah, I needed a rest day.
I'm planning on doing my "Pull" strength training tomorrow but won't be doing any cardio - agian, resting my legs/knees. I'm hoping to do a 4 mile run on Saturday after my "Core" workout. Wish me luck.
So, since I don't have a workout to blab about, I thought I'd talk about some things that have been floating around in my brain lately. Are you ready? It might be kinda long (even for my standards)...

Is this thing on?
Alright. So you know that little clock that's down in the right hand corner of your computer screen? Yeah, that one. I think mine's broken. I think that it's slowing down to the point that 1 minute is actually 5 minutes. There's no way it can only be 3:40. NO WAY! That means I still have an hour left at work. Seriously? I'm going to lose it. Can somebody please start installing padding on the walls of my office? I'm THIS CLOSE to going haywire.
Add to that the fact that my stomach is completely not a happy camper this afternoon. I swear its tripled in size since this morning! My buttons on my pants are moaning in protest. I haven't done bad with my eating today, either. Actually, I've done rather well. I don't know what's up.

I really like being a morning person!
Ouch. I just burnt my toe on the 2156786321 year old heater that's under my desk at work.
Why, you might ask, am I barefoot? Because my feet are FREEZING so I'm trying to get feeling back in my toes! And, the only closed toe flats that I have are these little ballarina flats I got at Wal-Fart for $10 like two years ago. (they really need retired) The only problem is that when I've got them on and I try to head up my toes they make me feet sweat (eww gross) so I take them off while I warm up... complicated, I know...
So, yeah. I'm cold. And I had to go field measure this morning so wearing my nice closed up high heel boots (my only other option at the present time) with nice warm socks was out of the question. Too much walking for heels.

Its Official: I'm a lazy turd
Well folks, I'm sad (read: feel guilty) that I have to announce that I have not worked out one IOTA since last Wednesday. And you know what? I have had, and still have, no desire to either. Sorry, that's just they way it is.
I'm not even on the fence about getting on the treadmill today. I don't wanna. Period. So guess what, I'm not gonna. Exclamation point.
Alright, enough stomping my feet, crossing my arms and pouting. Which, by the way, I apparently did this morning when Jason drug me out of bed to go to breakfast and get our grocery shopping done before his stupid football game came on at 1:00. :(( He made fun of me for it when he called me out on it, too. Whatever.
