AND I finally worked out! Yay! And I already feel better!
Here's my workout:
30 minute run (well, probably jog for most people. Back off, I'm short!):
Min 0-5 - 5.0 mph
5-10 - 5.1 mph
10-15 - 5.2 mph
15-20 - 5.3 mph
20-25 - 5.4 mph
25-26 - 5.5 mph
26-27 - 5.6 mph
27-28 - 5.7 mph
28-29 - 5.8 mph
29:00-29:30 - 5.9 mph
29:30-30:00 - 6.0 mph
TOTAL DISTANCE = 2.63 miles
Goal: Be able to run at least 3.1 miles in less than 30 minutes. For any of you who may not know, 3.1 miles is 5k. My current goal is to break sub-30 in my 5k's consistantly. This will also help me achieve my goal of running the half marathon under 2:30. (Yeah, that's 2 hours and 30 minutes...)
Approximately 30 minutes of Strength Training:
ABS:
3 sets of 12 each - Hanging Leg Lift, Inclined Oblique each side with 10 lb. weight
3 sets of 12/10/8 Inclined Sit-ups on Bench (where head is lower than feet)
BICEPS: 3 sets of 10 Arm Curls at 30/25/20lbs
CHEST: 3 sets of 10 Pectoral Flies at 30/35/30lbs
QUADS: 3 sets of 10 Leg Extensions 90/90/100
BUTT: 3 sets of 10 Standing Glute 30/40/50
INNER THIGHS: 3 sets of 10 each exercise
Straight Leg Adduction Machine 80/90/100
Bent Leg Hip Adduction Machine (did four sets of these - whoops!) 80/80/90/100
I didn't like the Bicep curl machine that I did. There's another piece of equipment that you can do assisted tricep dips, wide arm pull ups, pull ups, etc. I think I'm going to do that one from now on. So instead of my weight increasing for those, it will decrease as I need less help from the machine.
I'm not as sore today as I thought I would be - just my chest. I think I'll be pushing myself a little harder next time around - especially in the rear end department.
The run totally sucked even though I didn't do much, but it was only my second time running since October 31st, so I'm going to cut myself some slack.
I'm planning on working out again tonight and doing the other group of muscles and I'm going to do the same run. I'm hoping it will be easier!
As for my eating yesterday... (I've decided I'm going to use my entires to also track my points for Weight Watchers. Now, not only do I have to face the music and write them down for me to see, but now I'll be sharing them with others. Oh boy.)
I currently am allowed 24 points per day.
WW (weight watchers) also gives you 35 "flex" points each week to use as you please. So, you can divide them up and get 5 extra points a day or you can save them for special occasions. I typically try to not use them.
5 pts - 16 oz. Apple Cider warmed (instead of my usual coffee while driving to work - yum)
2 pts - Special K Cereal Bar
3 pts - Special K Meal Bar
2 pts - 10 Reduced Fat crackers (5 of them went into my gumbo for lunch - see below)
6 pts - 1 cup Leftover Chicken & Sausage Gumbo
2 pts - Special K Snack Bar
5 pts - Cocoa Wheats (made with water)
1 pt - 1 T light butter
1 pt - 2 pieces 35cal/slice Wheat Toast

You also "achieve" points for your workouts. The workout I did yesterday gained me 6 points. I typically don't give myself those points but, obviously, I need them for yesterday. So, if I subtract those points I only ate 21 points yesterday.
Also, as you can see, there's a lot of Special K things in there. I got this stupid idea to try the Special K challenge. Yeah, bad idea. $40 later, for all the bars and crackers and cereal, I'm starving all day long. So that's not gonna work.
Well, there you go. My first day of tracking my workouts and my eating. That wasn't so bad now was it? (Yes, I'm typing to myself here...)
I'm actually looking forward to my workout tonight.
Well, I'm going to try to actually get some work done today, seeing as how I'm at work... I know, its a novel idea. We don't have internet at home and unless, by some miracle of God, Verizon actually gets our service hooked up over the holiday weekend (haha yeah, fat chance) I won't have internet access until Monday.
BTW, we've been waiting to get our DSL service connected since before Halloween.We got all of these phone calls and mailers that we finally have DSL service available in our area. So, we finally make the decision to get internet but we still don't have it. "They're currently working on the issue and trying to establish a connection." I'm starting to lose my patience.....
Anyways, it may be a while until I post again. Happy Turkey Day, All! I'm going to try my darnedest to not stuff myself tomorrow. I'm planning on using a little plate. Wish me luck! ;)

OH, I ALMOST FORGOT!
I weighed myself Saturday morning and I was at 150. This morning when I stepped on the scale it said 148.5! YEAH!!!
I realize its mostly water weight, but it just proves that my weight gain over the past month is a result of not being able to work out. Stupid bronchitis! Let's hope I can get down to my ultimate goal of 135! I was going to put a little "tracker bar" on my blog, but it won't work right for me. Grr...
